favorite place no. 8 : at&t park

as many of you know, i am mildly in love with the giants. when i found out that at&t park offers daily behind-the-scenes tours, i was thrilled. the best ballpark in the world, and i can get down and touch the grass? yes please.

{proof...grass level}

we took our tour today and loved every moment, despite the fact that we were the only locals and probably could have given the first half of it ourselves with the amount of time we spend there!

{clockwise from top left: empty park with no mound, view level clock tower, wall mural, and press room}

{visitor's clubhouse}

{in the dugout, and the view from the legends suite}

{i was trying not to pee my pants.}

{batting cage}

{cody on the field, followed by us on the field and me continuously saying..."best day everrrr!"}

{and of course one with willie mays on the way out.}
this was seriously SO FUN and something that any sf native/visitor interested in baseball should do. tours run every day {except when the giants have day games} at 10:30 and 12:30, and tickets cost $12 at the dugout store.

{a few more pictures here.}
