boston trip: the sights

i had so many fantastic pictures from boston...mostly of leaves. what can i say, we californians get REALLY excited about any sort of visual seasonal change, since san francisco looks pretty much the same in winter or summer. here are the sights from our few days...

giggling our way down the street...this was a regular occurrence.

rip, paul revere. you done good.

who drinks beer at 11am? we do! especially when there are blueberries floating in it, that's practically a smoothie.

so, so excited for a fenway park tour.

the world series ball - wow.
looking jet lagged on the green monster.

and for our grand finale, heading out for the evening into the chilly nor'easter night...so cold, and so fun.
boston, i will be back!

engagement shoot : kelly + chris {in boston!}

last week i spent some time in boston, and had the honor of shooting engagement photos for kelly & chris. it was my first time in boston, and i am now absolutely obsessed! we shot in beacon hill, which looks like a little americana storybook, and down on the esplanade near the docks and little bridges. i think i'd like to go back every weekend.

aren't they the cutest? a little banana republic ad come to life. just gorgeous!

it's like christmas morning...

world series starts on wednesday. i will be a mess all week. go giants!

rainbow stripes & hot air balloons.

jose villa continues to blow my mind, and his latest shoot is possibly my favorite EVER. isn't this spectacular? every aspect from the styling, the lighting, and the props just happens to be perfection.

see the whole masterpiece here.

first things first.

before we resume our regular blogging...

the giants are headed to the
national league championship series!

my facebook profile MAY be scaring some of my family and friends, but that's ok. maybe i DID turn into a champagne-drenched bearded closing pitcher, who are they to judge? ;)

the bachelorette.

i am huge fan of the bachelor/bachelorette programming {made pretty clear by this crazy bachelor-in-sf post, and when misha and i accidentally recreated ali's istanbul date}.

so when we ran into the lovely bachelorette ali in a bar in the marina, we were more than a little enthused. she was gracious with our questions {"where's roberto? can we see your ring? was it amazing filming the season? WE LOVE YOU" etc...i.e. total psychos} and seemed to be having a great time.

{note my hand-holding...whoops. too happy.}

the most hilarious part was just how big of a celeb she was to the throngs of 20-something females at the bar. i guess the marina is pretty much the show's exact demographic. anyway, thanks to ali for being a sport and letting us be superfans. so much fun!

game 1.

i hope you guys care {even a smidgen} about the giants, because that's what this little san francisco/photography blog has suddenly become devoted to. it's just SO EXCITING that i want you all to share in the giant bear hug {pun!} that is this giants season.

last night was game 1 of the playoffs, and we were there!

note that fence behind us. yep, we were at the tippity-top of the ballpark. but you know what, it sure didn't matter when we were screaming along with 43,000 of our best friends.

i'd also never really sat on that side of the park, so i snapped some photos with the gorgeous view that happened during the game.

we won {thank you tim lincecum}, and best of all...we will be back here for game 2 tonight! yay.
